The China Iron and Steel Association,China Non-Ferrous Industry Association and the Metallurgical Council of CCPIT will jointly stage the China International Metals Industry Fair (MetalsFair)from November 6 to 9 this year at the Guangzhou International Convenction &Exhibition Center in the city of Guangzhou,Guandong Province.
The fair is taking place in South China,which is the country's largest metal-consuming area and also a large metal-working and trading centre. New projects such as steel plants and stainless steel production facilities are being planned or are under construction in the region.
Set to occupy more than 20000 square metres,MetalsFair will show-case various products,technologies and equipment related to metal production and recycling. There will be seven professional exhibitions:International Steel and Nonferrous Metals Industry Expo,International Metal Working Expo,International Hardware Expo,International Steel Construction Expo,International Stainless Steel Industry Expo,International Metal Recycling Expo,and International Ferroalloy and Refractory Industry Expo.
Several fora are being organised to run in parallel to the exhibition, including:International Forum on the Steel Market and Trade 2003;International Forum on the Non-Ferrous Market and Trade 2003,International Conference on Metal Production and Processing Technology 2003;and International Forum on Metal Recycling 2003.
